Architecture & Surveying
Architectural Services consist of the following:
On small projects through discussions with the client and good design provide a scheme that fulfils their requirements.
On larger schemes more complex development appraisal methods will be utilized, or within existing building spatial assessments and building/room analysis.
We create a concept that meets the requirements of that client and provides a build suitable to the required use.
Planning is concerned with the visual appearance of the proposed work, its history, height and size and whether it is sympathetic to its location.
Building Regulations Approval
Detailed drawings including itemised notes and specifications on how the building is to be built and compliance with all relevant Building Regulations and any other statutory requirements.
Building Contract Administration
A contract is a legally binding commitment between the builder and the client to deliver the project. We administer this contract impartially.
We can monitor construction of the project and for checking that the construction conforms to the planning permission, Building Regulations and specification and that all stages are properly completed to a satisfactory standard of workmanship.
Surveying Services consist of the following:
Measured Building Survey
Accurate dimensional plan, elevations and sectional surveys of existing premises produced in a CAD format.
Comprehensive survey reporting on:
Current Building Condition Costs to bring up to standard
Future planned maintenance costs
Recommendations, concerns, further action.
DfES Condition Assessment
NHS—Estate code – 2 facet surveys
Preparation of Tender documentation into small sub contract packages or complete projects for a contractor to price that will include:
Preliminaries – Form of contract, Schedule of works, Drawings, Specification
