Regency Seafront Apartment

A decorative refurbishment of a Grade II Listed Regency Seafront Apartment.

When my client's purchased this Regency Seaside home, it had previously been used as an Air B&B - everything was painted grey, and it lacked personality. We revamped everything from the front door, to the hallway, a new bathroom, new French Doors, a utility room, the home office, Master Bedroom, the lounge and kitchen were all refurbished. The concept and scheme was produced by Plucked + Stuff Ltd. The look was eclectic, sophisticated and practical.

Bespoke joinery elements such as the new French Doors, the timber sash windows in the kitchen and bathroom were all manufactured in our workshop. The new front door was reclaimed from an old bank in London - it's a late Victorian, 50mm thick Mahogany door. We altered the existing door frame and architraves to fit. We added period correct cornice in the hallway to really finish it off.

The bathroom was a complete refurb - we stripped out the existing sanitaryware and added new fixtures and fittings. The walls are complete with new bespoke panelling.

The utility or "engine room" of the apartment was completely fitted out in Howden's units to really emphasise the storage and usability of the space.

We kept the existing kitchen units and updated the look and feel with new handles, appliances and reconfigured the lighting. It's a great example of keeping the old, and mixing with new pieces to refresh the room.
